1. For the polo shirts, do they need to follow exact specifications or would you be open to similar alternatives (i.e. different weight of shirts, UPF 30+ or no UPF at all)?

Yes, polo shirts need to follow required specifications as indicated in the Needs Statement.

2. Will the different shirt colors requested need to be all heathered too?

No.

3. For brands that have the requested style of polo shirts in both sex, are you open to female shirts having button(s) or do you strictly need them to be v-neck?

V Neck Collar required.

4. If I do find samples that fit your needs, what would be next steps? Do we start with an email with the shirt information or do we send you a physical sample of the blank shirts?

5. And from what I understand, you want to see a polo by the date that the bid closes 8-04 - as well.

Do you need one for the men's style and one for the women's style?

Please see needs statement for sample dates. Yes there is a need for womens and men style samples.

6.The logo will exclude the wording on the bottom correct? (Excluding LANG-RECRUITING.COM)

No, this will include the URL, as supplied.

7. - Will the logo be embroidered on a patch, or would you want the full logo to be embroidered? If we utilized a black patch and embroidered the white & yellow, that should bring down the cost; the stitch count would be 5,000 rather than 20,000 for it all to be filled.

Logo embroidered on a patch is NOT acceptable.

8- The shirts will have the Adidas logo visible, will that be a problem? (located at bottom for females & on sleeve for male)

Logo showing is not an issue.

9 In the Needs Statement, one of the colors requested was "Heather Royal" which I could not find. Were you referring to Collegiate Navy by chance?

One color is sufficient, however, we need a sample of both male and female – Heather Royal.

10 If you approve of these polos, will one color polo shirt be sufficient or do you need a sample of every color?

Heather Royal color.

11. If everything looks good, could I send you a quote using a link v.s. using your quote sheet? We'll be able to fill in the quote sheet provided, but our quote link will be detailed and itemized for you to review.

12. Is a sample required for each color garment or only for each type of garment being supplied?"

No, a sample of each is not required. A sample of the black and purple will suffice, size Large. They do need to supply a link with the specific items that will not be provided.

13. There is mention in the solicitation of "3 impression areas" on the T-Shirts. Please identify each location on the shirt to receive an impression.

This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. The solicitation W912NR23R0036 is issued as a Request for Quote. This procurement is solicited as a small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 315990 - Apparel. This solicitation is for a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded to the best value trade off. Trade off is technical and past performance, these are more important factors than price. See 52.212-1 & 52.212-2 with the addendums for each for guidance. Offer must include proof of adherence to provided specifications (quotes will be checked for technical acceptableness based on requirements) and have a satisfactory past performance with Government contracts. The contractor shall return the completed provision (52.204-24) and return with proposal.

The Louisiana Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention has a requirement for POLO'S.

Addendum to 52.212-1:

Complete attached quote sheet and provide the following, 4. Proposal Sample. Contractor shall submit an unprinted sample when submitting the proposal to the contracting office as noted in the solicitation. The proposal sample must be an exact match of what will be furnished for the Prior to Production sample and the finished product The proposal sample must be delivered by the close date annotated on sam.gov. The contractor will be required to include a prepaid airbill along with the pre-award sample. If the sample is rejected, it will be returned to the contractor using the prepaid airbill. If the sample is approved, it will not be returned and will be used for a match of the Prior to Production sample and final product. The proposal sample shall be mailed to ATTN: SSG LaBorde, Cory, USPFO 420 F Street Pineville La. 71360.
