NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE MODIFICATION

This notice is being published in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 5.101. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract using FAR 6.302-1 – Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This is a not a request for competitive quotes/proposals.

The United States Marshals Service (USMS) intends to issue a modification on a sole source basis to exercise 52.217-8 for purchase order 15M10322PA4700059 to Watch Systems, LLC. 52.217-8 was included in the original award however the award was not priced.

The total estimated value of this modification is estimated to be $55,000. The estimated award date is September 14 1, 2023. The period of performance covered by this modification is September 30, 2023 – March 29, 2024

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 511210 (2017). The current NAICS code as of 2022 is 513210 with a size standard of $47M.

NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. A request for more information, or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered a response to this Special Notice. However, all responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement in response to this notice, which if received timely, must be considered by the agency. All capability statements must be submitted to Deloyce Barrington, via email only at deloyce.darrington@usdoj.gov no later than September 13, 10:00 AM ET.

A determination by the Government not to compete this contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
