PROVIDE NEW REDUNDANT DIESEL/NATURAL GAS GENERATOR FOR ST.
CHARLES PARISH 9-1-1 CENTER under Project No. 22007 as follows:

Contract Owner: St. Charles Parish Communications District

Contract Name: Provide new redundant diesel/natural gas generator for St. Charles Parish
9-1-1 Center

Principal Work Location: The Contract Work will be located generally at 222 Joe Louis Lane,
Hahnville, LA 70057.

Description of Basic Work: The Contract Work comprises providing and installing a new
100KW diesel/natural gas standby generator.

Bids: Sealed Bids must be received by the ST. CHARLES PARISH COMMUNICATIONS
DISTRICT, Parish of St. Charles, Louisiana, 222 Joe Louis Lane, 9-1-1 Center,
Hahnville, LA 70057 either by registered or certified mail with return receipt requested, hand
delivered, or electronically submitted at www.centralbidding.com, no later than 2:00 p.m.
local time on Thursday, November 10, 2022 . Promptly thereafter, the bids will be publicly
opened and read aloud in the St. Charles Parish Communications District 9-1-1 Center. The
Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, and to disregard all nonconforming,
nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids.

Bidding Documents: The Bidding Documents (the Contract Documents, Specifications and
Drawings) are available to Contractors who are properly licensed in Louisiana or to bona fide
suppliers of materials and equipment for purchase and/or review at the office of the Engineer,
Ellis Engineering. LLC, for the contract, Provide new redundant diesel/natural gas generator for
St. Charles Parish 9-1-1 Center. Ellis Engineering is located at 525 Brewster Rd., Madisonville,
LA 70447, phone number (504) 415-7670, or electronically at www.centralbidding.com.

A payment of $120.00 in cash or check payable to the Engineer will be required for each
complete set of the Bidding Documents. This payment is refundable as provided in the
Louisiana Revised Statues.

Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre-Bid Conference to discuss the scope of the project and the
requirements of the Bidding and Contract Documents will be held on Tuesday, November 1,
2022 at 10:00 AM. at the St. Charles Parish 9-1-1 Center. Attendance of the Pre-Bid
Conference is mandatory.

Each bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the

amount equal to five percent (5%) of
the total bid in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written by a
company licensed to do business in Louisiana, in the amount equal to one hundred percent
(100%) of the contract price. Certificates of Insurance will also be required as specified.

The outside of the bid envelope must contain the submitting firm’s name, your Louisiana
Contractors License number, the project number, and the project title.
